Primary school management in the transition to grammar school dabing the 5th and 7 th grades

In the introductory part of the final bachelor thesis the theoretical basis are described. These are the ones that school management can rely on when influencing the decision-making process of pupils and their legal representatives whether to change to grammar school or whether pupil's education will remain at the existing primary school. The practical part of the paper deals with finding motifs when leaving to grammar schools is considered, in other words, reasons why pupils remain at primary schools. Moreover, it provides recommendations for school management to influence these decisions.
The Realisation of Health Support in School Educational Programmes in Connection with Present Basic Schools Reality

This diploma work includes the analysis of 30 school educational programmes. The school programmes were chosen by chance in basic schools of Central Bohemian Region. The study finds out how the health support is realised in school educational programmes. The results of the work show how the subject matter of Health education is realised in school educational programmes and how i tis included in separate school forms. It also uses the real informatik and knowledge of teachers and deals with the topic of social - pathological problems.

TITLE: Private and alternative schools in the Czech Republic SUMMARY: The thesis describes current status of private and alternative schools whereas private schools are considered as an alternative to the public school system as well. It tackles the specific aspects of alternative pedagogical programs, describes common and distinctive features and sees into the positives and negatives of the choice of alternative education for parents and pupils. The theoretical part focuses on private schools. It inquires into the qualitative difference between private and public schools and deals with the conditions of education for both pupils and teachers. This dissertation deals with the topic of after-school care facilities. It develops a profound description of the functions of the after-school care facilities in all aspects of their activities. The after-school facilities are included amongst school institutions; they are one of the most important organisations when it comes to the free time of children from the first school. Despite that, they have not been given much attention. This dissertation brings, in its theoretical part, the basic information about the environment and function of the after-school care facilities, the personality of their educators but it also characterises the children from the first school for whom the facilities are intended. In the practical part, it expounds the environment of the after-school care facilities in the deep description of their organisational matters and activities. It also brings the analysis of the main benefits for children and seeks to find the possibilities of improvement of the functions of the after-school care facilities from the points of views of the educators working there. Analysis of Documents on Czech Political System Education (Bachelor thesis) Author: Jakub Černý Abstract: The bachelor thesis analyzes a Czech educational curriculum and text books on a Czech political system which are intended for secondary schools and grammar schools. The thesis wants to answer questions how these documents inform about the Czech political system and whether these documents keep a constitutional scheme and whether these documents can contribute to making misconceptions of the Czech political system.
The Teaching of Portuguese in Cape Verde (in primary education)

In this study I focused on the education of Portuguese language on the islands of Cape Verde, especially in range of basic education. In order to achieve this purpose there are historical, cultural and linguistic correlations mapped, which are influencing local inhabitants and their use of languages. Most of all the study focuses on the differences in circumstances, in which creole and Portuguese are used. Furthermore the cape Verdean educational system is described with a special attentiveness to the educational language, individual levels of educational system, the education of Portuguese language and the training of pedagogues, such as current tendencies of education. The executed questionnaire confirms the already achieved conclusions. Apart from that was discovered, that the implementation of education in creole is planned for long time, but until now couldn't be forced, especially because of problems caused by differences between creole on individual islands. The contribution of this study is a complex recapitulation of cultural and linguistically conditions and their influences on present situation in terms of the education of Portuguese language and general overview of the use of languages in the educational system of Cape Verde.
Financial management of Týnec nad Sázavou Primary School

This work deals with the financial analysis of the Týnec nad Sázavou Elementary School in order to find possible savings and new sources of financing. The thesis defines education in the Czech Republic. The education system and the main subjects of education are defined, especially the financing of basic education, followed by a concrete example of such funding, financing of the elementary school Týnec nad Sázavou. The thesis analyzes the financial management of this school, which seeks savings and new sources of financing.

Education of children-foreigners in primary schools in Prague

The number of immigrants has been increasing in the Czech Republic. Along with adult immigrants come also their children and this causes an increase of foreigners in Czech schools. In this diploma thesis it is examined, in what way Prague primary schools cope with the increase of children foreigners in their classrooms. Through interviews and questionnaire survey it is observed what opinions and beliefs are taken by representatives of primary schools in Prague on the issue of foreigners in education, whether they have any specific conceptions that focus on helping foreigners with integration into the Czech school system and at the same time into the majority society. Considering the fact that the process of integration is complicated and during the process a number of obstacles usually occur, it depends not only on the activities of each particular school, but also on the degree of support from the state, and on a child-foreigner himself and on his family, whether the process of integration will eventually be successful or not.
